Natural Wine is fast growing in popularity within the global wine community and we want to demystify all things natural wine and answer your questions about this alternative to traditional wine. Love it or hate it, it’s on the rise and worth knowing about so you can increase your wine knowledge and understand what it’s all about the next time you spot one on the wine list.

This April, the Fine Wine Group have a Members Special Wine Class event offering you the opportunity to explore, taste and delve into the world of natural wine during a relaxed night with paired cheese at our tasting table with fellow wine lovers.

Natural wine is typically made from handpicked grapes grown by smaller, independent producers using organic or biodynamic techniques to grow the fruit to allow for the purest fruitful flavour possible. The wine is fermented with no added yeast, and there are no additives or sulphites added, so the wine is made with little to no chemical and technological intervention. These natural processes are done to respect the environment and vine by avoiding harmful chemicals and practices, resulting in a unique fresh flavour.

On Wednesday April 10th join Australian winemaker and educator Tom Egan from Jed Wines as he guides you through 8 natural wines. Tom is an engaging facilitator with many years of experience and passion for wine, and we are very fortunate to have him lead this special event for you.
